Well done to our very own Catriona Dubbels who recently had a trip to London to pick up her award at The Salters’ Institute Annual Awards Ceremony for the country’s best Science Technicians.

This prestigious annual event held at Salters’ Hall celebrates high levels of excellence within the science education sector.  This year the Ceremony took place on Friday 9 December 2016.  Over 180 guests attended the Prizegiving Ceremony and lunch reception.

We were very pleased to welcome Dr Annette Doherty, Senior Vice President Product Development and Supply at GlaxoSmithKline who delivered a keynote address and presented the Awards at the Ceremony.

Awards were presented for the Salters’ Graduate Prizes, Salters’ National Awards for Science Technicians, Salters-Nuffield Advanced Biology (SNAB) Prizes, Salters Advanced Chemistry (SAC) Prizes, Salters Horners Advanced Physics (SHAP) Prizes and Salters’ City and Guilds Prizes.
